• Burst

    I burst from the underground,
    Running towards my freedom,
    Embracing the rain,
    the streets are dead,
    no music or conversation,
    Just mechanical horses,
    Slowly infecting what we built,

    I am a Android,
There is always a light at the end of my tunnel,
    Here before man made structures,
and he before man crushed upon itself,
    I am immortal, yet free,
I am the curse and the antidote to the sickness called death,

We once held hands in a field and spun,
we twirled and danced our problems away,
It was then when they took us,
    The labs, the testing,
    Who was I?
    Where did I come from?

    I remember seeing you,
    Those damn tests,
    Those damn needles,
If I could only make it to you,
If I could only stop them,
    Then they shut me down,

    I awoke in a cell,
A cellmate rebooted my hard drive,
I seen you in the cell across,
    I broke my mantle,
    My protection plate,
To move from my cell to yours,

I was with you for two days,
    People started dropping,
    There was no food,
I tried my best to get you some,
I only ended up back in my cell,
    Everyone else was dead,

I remember when the human problem "Hunger",
I remember what it did to you,
I remember those last few minutes
I remember when you told me to leave you,
I remember you makeing me leave,
I remember closing the steel doors behind me,

    So I ran,
    Escaped,
    Injured,
    Broken,
    I wont stop,
    She told me to 'burst',
