In The Mirror
In the mirror, all she sees is flaws
She stops to pause
In the mirror, all her imperfections shown
She's still as stone
In the mirror, she sees them point; hears them laugh
The girl's whose sizes, compared are half
In the mirror, she looks deeply immersed
Why with this inadequate body, was she cursed?
In the mirror, she envisions herself another way.
The outcome would be worth any cost to pay.
In the mirror, she makes up her mind
Her unsightly reflection would be refined.
In the mirror, shes captivated
By her own perception, her image is hated.
In the mirror, shes lost her soul
Her pain has suppressed, taken control
In the mirror, an empty girl stands
Her body with no say of her demands.
In the mirror, a reflection fades away
Another fatality, another prey
Mirrors are everywhere
So keep your reflections in your Prayers.
