• Never Ending

    She wanted him,
    He never knew.
    She didn't know,
    That he wanted her too.

    They both suffered their pain,
    Of never being together,
    But neither of them knew,
That the pain would last forever.

He found out the next day,
That she would no longer be.
    Her death was tragic,
But her soul was now free.

She was walking home from school that day,
The breeze, cool on her face,
Thinking of the boy she wanted,
While her heart picked up its pace.

She never even saw the car,
That hit her with full force.
As it jerked its wheels in panic,
    Veering off its course.

    Tires screeched and people screamed,
As she fell to the ground with a thud.
Her body, so very pale and white,
Now lay there in the mud.

Her eyes closed shut, against her will,
    Everything seeming so bright.
She said goodbye to the boy she loved,
As she went into the light.
