My first impression,
isn't always a good one at that.
Cynical at first,
My ego appears to be fat.

But first impressions,
they never are all of the parts.
But the deeper parts of me,
is where friendship usually starts.

Respect and trust come first,
before you can truly be my friend.
I don't truly trust anyone,
Unless they'll stick with me through the end.

Don't jump at first sight,
for that's not truly my heart.
The door to my spirit,
is in a much deeper part.
