The hands of time lift the creature up
Her frail body shakes as she stands
The widow's daughter
Moonlight makes her body sparkle
The strained flesh seems soft in this light
Poor creature spat into life
She looks up into the moon, the blue hues leave an almost calming effect
Her sad blue eyes then gaze down at the woman in the shadow
Four blue eyes looking through time and space
Her bondage is her key to this world
Sand moves through the young girl's body,
Little beads of sand spill down her finger tips onto the world of shadow
She is, Erithia, the creator
The daughter of the widow

I agree with Dragons Willow! The imagery is striking, and you can tell your work by it! Once again an excellent piece of poetry! I must say that the phrase "spat into life" made me go 'wow'!

i'm only half sure as to what this is about, but i'm loving the imagery. i liked the "daughter of the window" line....it's mysterious...almost as if there should b a story somewhere about her. i liked it overall....so 5 starz!
oh, and thanks for the comment on my poem "Depression". it's much appreciated!! ^-^v - Report As Spam
