• My head is on the pillow,
And my body on the bed,
    But my mind is outside,
    In fantasy land.

    My lover is the night,
    My castle the stars,
My gown a shimmering full moon.

Elven madness is commonplace to take hold,
Humans and elf are all equal.

    There is no prison,
    There is no anger.
For what could you possibly want to be angry about?

    Animals talk and are kind,
    Adventures are plenty,
And for those who do not take the sword,
    A library for studies.

Each and everyone of us is beautiful in our own way,
But we do not care what one looks like,
We are having too much fun.

Alas, alas, the sun must come up,
And I whisked back to boring reality,
But my lover awaits at home,
    And my subjects still laugh,
For they know that I will be back.
