As I pull the petals from the rose.
"She love's me."

I think as the thorns dig deeper into my hand.
"What does this prove?"
"How will this help me get her?"
"She love's me."
"She love's me not."
Time passes by.
Blood covers my hand.
"I've lost track."
There is only one question then...
"Does she love me?"

- I didn't think I would like it when I started reading it, but it was good. It was an interesting twist on a cliche idea. The part about the thorns was really good. I'm not sure how much thought you put into it, so I feel dumb if you didn't, but the part about the thorns has a lot of symbolic meaning.
