YOU
I remember
When you used to skateboard down my block.
The wind blowing through your blond hair,
You would always smile and wave,
And I would smile back
And then,
You got cancer.
Now.
Your skateboard’s sitting in the garage.
Your hair is gone,
You’re lying in your hospital bed, asleep
And I’m sitting alone on my porch, scared

I thought the movie was "My sister's keeper". Either way, very nice poem. 5/5 - Report As Spam
