• As I walked to Bass'ken lake,
I looked at its glossy shores.
I saw rods and reels and banana peels
    and little fishies galore.
And as I sat on my little mat
    to peacefully catch some fish,
I looked up to the sky in hopes that I
would make a request, or a wish.
'I wish I wish I would catch lots of fish!'
    I eagerly, pleadingly said,
'and let them all be big and round and fat!'
    my unusually large ego said.
    And when I got hungry,
    me and my dog
ate, and drank some juice from a juppie.
But as the day wore on
    All I seemed to catch
were lots and LOTS of guppies!
What is a guppy, you might ask?
    It's a tiny, infintesimal fish.
So I sat down and cried
    as if I had died
because I did not get my dearest wish.
But now me and my puppy
as we drink the juice of a juppie
are now covered all over with GUPPIES!
Guppy here, guppy there, guppy floating in the air, guppy in my undearwear,
    guppy guppy everywhere.
Guppy red, guppy green, guppy polkadots,
guppy guppy, that's all there is is guppy,
every day and night, they are there.
Guppy in the lawnmower, guppy in the Dell,
guppy in my cheese grater, guppy in Fido's bell.
Guppies in the dishwasher, guppies in my hair, guppies in the books I read
    and still in my underwear.
O dear Lord, please tell me why
you have brought me to despair
these vermin, fish, whatever you wish
    that are guppies, guppies, everywhere?
