• Dancing In the Rain

    Twirling,
    My hair,
    Soaking wet,
Clings to my back and shoulders.

    My arms are spread open,
    My eyes are closed,
I don't care about the thunder,
I don't care about the rain.

    I smile,
As the lightning illuminates the heavens,
    Forcing me to look,
    As I dance.

    I slowly look around,
    I listen carefully,
    There is noone,
    There is no music.

I dance to my own music,
I dance to my own beat,
As I dance, some people watch me,
    Enjoying my show.

    As I dance,
    I bare my soul,
I put my everything into these movements,
But people just continue to walk by me.

    I long for a friend,
    Someone to dance with,
    To share this music with,
To dance in the rain with.

But everyone just passes me by,
Without a second glance into my eyes,
    My feet are muddy,
    My hair is soaked.

To them I'm not worth it,
    I'm not worth anything,
    My brothers call to me,
And I look at them with sad eyes.
