• Ode to my mirror
    That hangs from my wall
You show me how wonderfully dreadful I look in the morning
Or if my face is covered in magic marker
You don’t tell little white lies
You give me the cold, harsh truth –
Yes, they DID tag me again. Ugh.

    Oh mirror,
Even when I’m scrubbing my face in the bathroom
    You’re of use to me
    Reflecting my own frustrated glare
    But not mocking my stupidity

    Mirror, mirror
    You’re my only true confidant
    All my other friends suck
And how can I not love you when you’re as hot as I?
    I’ll never break you
I mean, who wants seven years of bad luck?

    Seriously.
