Can't You Hear the Forest Talking
Silver wings fly across your heart,
Pink petals dance in the wind like art,
Green grass sways around you,
& You can still feel morning’s early dew.
The crickets chirp…
The birds sing…
The foxes prowl,
While the bear sleeps.
The stream babbles
& The trees bend
Can’t you hear the forest talking to the wind?
Silver wings fly across your heart,
Pink petals dance in the wind like art,
Green grass sways around you,
& You can still feel morning’s early dew.
The rain falls
& The sun hides,
The moon is slowly starting to rise,
The stars shoot, across the sky,
Can’t you hear the forest talking to the skies?
Silver wings fly across your heart,
Pink petals dance in the wind like art,
Green grass sways around you,
& You can still feel morning’s early dew.
Can’t you hear the forest talking,
Can’t you hear the forest talking,
Can’t you hear the forest talking to you?
Silver wings fly across your heart,
Pink petals dance in the wind like art,
Green grass sways around you,
& You can still feel morning’s early dew.
