• Another Fall Down The Hole

I fell again, down a dark a dreary hole. The landing was painful, but pure bliss. I was led astray, by creatures of all kinds. Eyes wide with innocence, beholding the enchantment all around. I followed this hastened being without a second thought. Heart pounding fast against my chest, breath catching quick within my throat, I ran and ran to catch up with the figure quickly shrinking in the distance. calling out made no difference, there was nothing to be heard. Cornering the lofty, nervous figure, finally, I beheld with curiosity. A most unusual disposition, and so impatient too. Craving the company, giving chase once more. I fear you shouldn't trust the rabbit, those eyes are telling falsehoods all the time. a pocket watch in one hand, and a killer's knife in the other. Wondrous though this place may be, there's danger everywhere, and friends are nowhere to be found, companions unfamiliar as a loving heart, it's best to climb back up from that hole, and never gaze back down. Giving excess thought to places of intent, will only lead to misery, of that, one can be sure.
