• Angel of angels, halo of red.
Desire so strong it fills my head.
Heaven’s light, shine down on me,
Only her heart is my heart’s key.
If Earth is all of God’s creation,
Then our love is the magical Garden of Eden.
The fruit of our passion which grows within our souls
Is a tie that binds in a way which only Heaven knows.
If I am the moon, then she is the sun,
Across the galaxy I would run.
I’d find my star, my only one,
I’d tell her my love for her could never be undone.
The fates could align and all forces could try to pull us apart,
But none of them could break the strength of the heart.

Love is a fool’s gamble is what some men might say,
But to those who believe that, to you I shake my head in dismay.
For no one could know the pull of two hearts
Or how they sing the song of the larks.
They sing a song so beautiful the mocking birds cry in envy
Because our song couldn’t match the song of any.
For the longest time, these two roses were alone
Wilting away until they claimed each other as their own.
No one else can see their true emotions
As they sit in a paradise where they wish for no motion.
But one as the other and the other as one
They know what they feel and they know they will never be none.
As long as they stay in love’s perfect venue
They’ll be together forever, bound by love‘s binding virtue.
