The Already Broken

• Description: I kinda wrote this a while back when i was angry. It's focused towards my stepdad who I don't get along with at all. We sort of have a mutual dislike for each other... But if you've been in a situation where someone keeps putting you down eventually you'll stand up and be strong. This is what I wrote about. My standing up to someone who thinks they're superior to me.

To see me run off and cry?
Do you think I've lost again?
Well, I've been beaten down before
I still somehow always rise again
So try your damndest to push me down
I'll never ever give in to you
Because I've seen the likes of you before
Always breaking hearts and crushing dreams
Don't bother wasting time on me
You cannot break the already broken
Go ahead and blame me for your bad days
Hate me, Ignore me, Forget me
Focus all your untamed rage on me
Because I can take what you're too weak to handle
I'm not the one who's crying anymore
I've been right where you are before
I'm stronger than you'll ever be
So go on and take it out on me
I can see through your facades and stories
I know the truths behind your lies
Your shield may hide you from the rest
But not from me, I still see
Because I'm still the stronger of us two
For you cannot break the already broken

How can you break whats already broken...I love this poem...I'm not broken at all, but I am shattered.
