It's nighttime now
thinking about school
homework to come
friends that i missed
about 19 days left
cant wait
going into 8th grade
seeing all my teachers again
more dances
yearbook signings
pictures
the year after that highschool
then college
im thinking too ahead now
i shouldnt think about highschool
or even college
but only 8th grade that is coming
sigh, only about 19 days left

Expand this. Discuss things that happen in the future both good and bad that may come and then bring it back to being in eight grade again and what some things are you expect there ...
Oh! Poetry "emotes" - the sigh in the last line - needs italics or parenthesis. Something to let the reader know this is something the narrator is doing not a word written into the poem for a different purpose. Nice start. - Report As Spam
