Title: Light Bulb
By: Kit Katy
Through bitter night,
Through pleasant daylight,
The Light bulbs remain shined.
Shuddering thoughts that trickle,
Webbed ideas continue to tickle,
But the light bulbs remain shined within our skulls.
Though we shatter ourselves,
Though we torture our souls,
We still hang on to the light bulbs.
Bright rays that shower the insides, come here.
Spark a life with generous fear.
With that done, the mind will steer.
The light bulbs will upgrade to become better.
Shall we cope with rough leather?
Shall we cope with raging fever?
As long as those bulbs shine,
Make the light brighter then a dime.
History has just been written.

Description:
This poem is based on my own thoughts of memory retaining. No, I don't mean computers. I mean, the thought of forgetting something important like a relative or a simple task. I'd hate to loose any of my memories because they make me who I am.
I hope my emotions glow brightly to you. :) - Date: 10/01/2009
