It burns
This heat inside me
Burning like a fever
This fever
This contagious fever
It spreads like wildfire
Consuming them without their knowledge
On fire
They are all on fire
Burning with this fever
All see
But none care
How do we quell this persistent flame?
The fire dies down to smoldering embers
But those embers always
The fuse reignite
Burning
We are all burning
Please douse my flame
Before it consumes me
- Title: Anger
- Artist: Gazma
- Description: A lot of my poems have to do with emotions. This one is no different. I got really ticked off this morning when I thought I was going to be late to school, so this was written to vent my anger. It's alright, I suppose. Just doesn't seem to compare to my other stuff, though.

I agree with you on that thought. I tend to use a lot of 'unnecessary' words and lines in my poetry. ^^

- I believe all lines are necessary in my poems. If not for rhyme, they create rhythm. I would rather my poems be rated on more important things than "unimportant lines"...>_>

- Hmm, I spotted a lot of unnecesary lines in the poem, it was okay overall though. 2/5
