This poem talks about how I wish life was like a remote just to get that little bit of information you need or to get that one special moment over with. Life can be complicated at the wrong times, so I have learned from experience.

Fast Forward...
Straight to when my boyfriend cheated on me,
So those tears that I shed didn't come,
Cause the pain hurt to much to bear any longer,
So I knew when to pick up my heart and mend it together.

Rewind...
Back when I got my very first kiss,
The memories of how ecstatic I was after our lips parted,
To the part where he said we were ment to be forever,
Back when he held my hand after losing a best friend.

Pause...
The times I laughed so hard it hurt,
A time me and my friends ran around naked at midnight,
When I had the best costume for Halloween,
The first time I got 10 pieces of Butterfinger in my sack.

Record...
The time I sneezed and laughed at the same time,
When I swam with a friend in cold water at 3 a.m.
The amount of fun I had painting my face for the first time,
Then the great times between you and I.
