• SPARK OF LOVE
    UC Poika

    What a fire a single spark can set
    Miles of charred timber smoldering yet
    Breezes that gust to dangerously high rates
    Gossip driven by the likes of insane debates
    Devils laughing because they drink his brew
    Lunacy turns first against one kind then two
    Then gripping a burnt bunny he sobs alone
    Realizing exactly what he has done
    Rope tied about his neck he hangs himself
    Rabbit still there upon his highest shelf
    Suicide note explains away all he’s loved
    Dirty with soot it induces his heart to be moved;
    Hatred may have set the fire but then
    Remorse is yet perhaps the greater killer of men.
