I'm alone again
Lost in a sea of thoughts
My only friend is my shadow
The only sound is my beating heart

I sit there and stare
At nothing at all
Because that's what we live for
Our meaning being small

It dosn't take very much,
A broken heart, some shattered dreams
for our lives to feel blank
to me that's all it seems

My heart throbs, but reality returns
No longer can i pertend
I have to go and face the world
Until i'm alone again
