• A fluttering engine with no pilot,
I am bound to the mud beneath you.
    An explosion and scattered debris
    Sinking into the moistened soil.
Spreading my arms wide open to the rain,
Beating down on my crawling skin.
    Locked jaw, I cannot fly.

Even with reason, I fail to live.
    With those misled lips,
    We exchange beloved words.
The volume raises and the insects
    Emerge from pores, slithering
Through my spine, into the skull.
    Accidental cancellation,
    The android is reset.

    Useless fingers curl and gnarl.
    Mental deficiency chewing inside.
Tubing and wires spark and die,
    Words dancing through wrong circuits.
The spirit inside the machine screams for freedom,
Unable to escape through pleas, alone.
    Give him strength.

Set it free, the gathered presence,
    Find yourself through carnage.
    Releasing traces when hinges detatch.
The fates are sealed, hush yourself.
Such liberation is forever in vain.
