Eyes closed, breathing lightly
Asleep on the desk next to me
Stirring slightly as your hair runs down your face

You wake when your chair gets nudged
Your arm knocks off your pencil
I bend down to pick it up
So do you

Our hands touch
Our eyes meet
We're both at a loss for words

I pull my hand back and sit up
You put your pencil back on your desk
Say 'Thanks' and smile
I nod and smile back

We turn our heads to the teacher
Occasionaly looking at each other
Catching each others eyes

Embarassed and shy
We don't speak
But we both know
What each other thinks
