• Twists and turns that never end,
    neither of us know what's around the bend.
    We hold our heads up courageous and proud,
    even though danger wraps us like a shroud.

    Our friendship is an inviolable fend
    that keeps us blinded from the unseen end.
    Our aim is to uncover the truth of our reality
    and find the answer to our inevitable fatality.

    We sit and gaze into the striking night air;
    but we cannot wait much longer, it's too much to bare.
    The aspiration of finding home always plagues our thoughts,
    corrupting our minds, locking away secrets behind impossible knots.

    Our feet keep moving forward, our eyes steady on the stars;
    falling with the grace of a god, a close end hides our scars.
    We cannot think this is it, its not our time just yet,
    but at some point our lives will pay off this unforgiven debt.

    Both of us ask ourselves why it has to be this way.
    What if we want to live; what if we want to stay?
    But who are we kidding; we shouldn't deny
    that we, so fiercely, want to say goodbye.

    We were born for death;
    brought into this world to take our last breath.
    We know we are destined for doom, no hope on this path.
    Both of us are subjects to an unseen person's wrath.
