• Ocean roar, let me hear your canticle,
Let Apollo, dear Sun God, scorch the surface,
Mother, let your vines strangle our progress,
    As humans we are antagonists.
We are the aliens of this planet,
Take us to your leader, uncivilized beast.
We will skin the leader and wear him.
We forge steel to stab the Earth, and steal her precious jewels,
and we create smoke to corrupt your virgin air.
That we tear your children from your cradle and womb, Earth.
And we apologize, but we are not sorry.
    We claim dominion over thee!
We will tear you apart like the Bastille!
And yet we are so much like our slaves.
    Fornicating and reproducing like hares,
    But we frown upon them?
Take me into your arms, Earth.
I am sincerely sorry for my race.
I am trying to return your jewels,
and sew the hymen of thine now impure air.
    Return the coats to beasts,
And realize that I am an alien.
