• The boy next door
    graduated yesterday.
    My best friend on earth
    gone so far away.
    Everything is changing,
    My hair isn't even brown.
    Mommy finally hates me,
    Daddy wants me around.
    Rubber band bracelets,
    shaped like little animals,
    suddenly stand for sex, and
drugs, and off brand rock n roll.
    Society is just so amusing,
    nothing can be innocent.
    Everything has to be drugs,
or whores, or crack, or sex.
    Suddenly everybody cares
what boys do with their friends,
    they kiss another boy,
They get banished that’s the end.
    No one ever really cared,
    What we were doing before,
    But now words got around,
    So now were all whores.

    And I think its ironic,
    How we feel inside.
    We point our fingers,
    to cover up our lies.

    We were all best friends,
    until high schools little groups,
    and the stupid little lies,
    and the stereotypical little rules.
    Everything fell apart when
    Erica got those boobs,
    and Leanne joined volley ball,
    and Amanda finally moved,
And I picked up that razor blade
    and then everybody knew,
That I was just some lesbian whore.
A cutter with anorexia to boot.
    Because Everybody Knows Me.
    Right?
