The Door
Sat silently on the floor.
Like a ghost,
It stood alone and hushed.
The Door
Untouched,
Locked for many years,
But stands as one,
And still in pieces.
The Door
With a golden knob,
And a small window,
Opened.
The Door
Unlocks to a little garden,
But filled with many words,
Many pictures.
But the story had just begun.

Description:
This is an observation, free verse, repetition, and imagery poem that I wrote a year ago when I was in seventh grade. I wrote this poem as an inspiration to follow my dreams and goals. It is also about life and how you choose the right door to happiness.
