• #105:Im dreaming or a world
And more importantly I’m fighting for it
Dreaming and fighting is all I know
For a world in which all the druggies could spend their drug money of collective housing
We could take back our taxes
Spend them as a community and build the city up
Restart development and stop with Gentrification

I can see a better world
Where we all stand as one
    In solidarity forever
    Loving, sharing and caring

    Back not so long ago
The people rose as one and brought our soldiers home
We made calls of a peaceful world
They had to obey when we all stood as one
But we won the battle and forgot to keep fighting for peace
Now we are in bloody occupation
    Fighting to end it all

I can see a better world
Where we all stand as one
    In solidarity forever
    Loving, sharing and caring

Have you heard the tales of all the ordinary heroes
    Like Smilin Sid
Who stood by the miners of West Virginia when the law abandoned them
    Or Howard Zinn
Taught the south how to protest and taught the people many valuable lessons
Reminded us of our past so we could make a more decent society

I can see a better world
Where we all stand as one
    In solidarity forever
    Loving, sharing and caring

You know our revolution from England
Ya well do you know the truth
How George Washington killed the farmers
Who had peacefully won their freedom
The founding fathers stole it all from the farmers
Used their riches to turn it bloody
And fill their pockets with the blood soiled money

I can see a better world
Where we all stand as one
    In solidarity forever
    Loving, sharing and caring

    Have you heard about Gaza
    Block aided by Israel
It’s not governments fighting for their freedom
    And to keep them alive
Its people like you and me
Boarding the Flotilla and facing those heavy weapons

I can see a better world
Where we all stand as one
    In solidarity forever
    Loving, sharing and caring

Back in the second world war many horrible acts where committed
I shall tell of just one
A group of thousands of polish Jews where forced out
No nation would take them as refuges and they had no visas
They had nowhere else to turn but the third Reich its self
    They went to Lithuania
    Chiune Sugihara was the representative
He was told to deny them entry but he disobeyed
Giving visas to all that needed them
Even on the train to take him away he tossed visas out the window

I can see a better world
Where we all stand as one
    In solidarity forever
    Loving, sharing and caring
