A broken pillar on one side
A journey made in but one stride
Waves crash upon the wall
Come winter, it will tumble and fall
Long white dress, hair all a mess
And she's gone
Lilting voices on a windless night, ancient trees are waving
Sometimes you can see a horse, but you can never quite hear what they're saying
Who is the keeper?
Where is the key?
Why is she weeping?
What have they seen?
Giggling in the grass, invisible looming mass
A collection of what cannot be
The in-betweens, the thresholds
The neither-here-nor-theres
All serve as gates to everywhere
To everything that isn't

- Description: Interpret it as you will. I was looking through my writing journal and came across an unfinished poem. Here I have touched it up so it flows better. I'm not sure which version I prefer, but this one longer and more understandable.
