Day in, day out
Life ain't really that hard
Day in , day out
That's all I have to do
Why should I complain?
I have all I need here
Three meals a day
And a roof on my head
Why should I complain?
Maybe it's because
I'm missing one thing
I'm missing my reason "Why?"
Where is my reason?
What is my reason
To get out of bed?
I have no one to greet
And with no one I eat
I can't really find my reason "Why?"
But when the day's light ends
On the day of hard works end
At least then, the smiles on their faces
And their sweet embraces
At least then, they remind me of my reason "Why?"

Thanks guys! I'm glad you liked it. I guess I'm a pretty good writer when I'm half-asleep.
And thanks for the helpful advice, Wicked. biggrin - Report As Spam

- If you put the "Why?"s as another line at the end of each stanza, it would increase their impact on the reader. I like the concept and the concluding ideas. 5/5 for non-emo deepness ;D
