• Through flowery fields a rabbit does roam.

He runs to and fro as to find his way home.

Birds sing over rooftops under blue morning sky.

Trees rustle with utmost glee when Jacqueline passes by.

She walks along the beaten track

The wind blows through her hair

She treads along with little care

    And never once looks back

This girl, she had a shining jewel

It helped her keep her cool

She held it to her chest

    When she found herself distressed

However in the dark of night

It fell far from her hand

So she searches cross the land

For her precious glint of light

Other stones along the way she's seen

But none with quite that certain gleam

Her precious ruby she has sought

Would never leave now from her thought

    Now on one sunny day

    The rabbit came to find

A red jewel that reminded him

Of how to find his way

He swallowed whole the tiny stone

And once again he left for home

Until at crossroads did rabbit see

A young girl there in front of he

    The rabbit felt inside

    A connection from the heart

    He felt he'd come apart

If he were not by her side

She stood perplexed by this rabbit here

That she thought by now would disappear

But still that rabbit he did stay

Right behind as she walked her way

Jacqueline, she still kept her track

Her quest to find her ruby stone

But she could not have ever known

That what she sought, she did not lack

She walks along the beaten track

The wind blows through her hair

She treads along with little care

    And never once looked back
