vision of black
everything is black;
i cannot see.
i feel my way though
but find nothing.
i can hear,
but there is not a sound.
my head, how it aches
as i smell the campfire
doused earlier.
my dry lips,
they taste of blood
after the fiasco of a hit
i received but a little bit ago.
i trip over an unknown object,
and i fall to my demise,
and as i lay there,
calling for people who will never come,
loosing life with every scream,
i wonder why i am the one
born with no eyes.
