• The winter solstice, A time of cold fire and hot snow,
The world becomes cold and barren, nothing will grow,
Here I stand, carressed through my pain like a cold lovers,
While all others sit next to fires and under covers,
For I am as alone and cold as this, my empty solstice.

The winter solstice, My only enemy and only friend,
Understanding and companionship, but never comfort does it lend,
Here I wait, for the spring to come to mercifully set me free,
And hope that somewhere, someone hears my plea,
Until then I shall endure winters cold and unfeeling kiss.

Because from the cold does warmth come to be born,
So I will be reborn instead of torn, forget that I was once forlorn.
