I fell too far for silent hands to reach
Learned a lesson I could never teach
Falling through the air and time
Like the steady beat of rhyme
The ground was only too close
My adreline ran out, my dose
I fell too far to regain composure
My depression remained without closure
Such a silly game I play
A game with only black and white, no gray
Dismal and weary must be ones soul
To even cast the die, make it roll
I fell too far to remember the past
A mental image like a guns solumn blast
Ringing against my deafened ears
Who to look to, not my fears
Still my lips utter no word
My heart grew colder than a winter blizzard
I fell too far to recognize the pain
Once before I had realized, now couldn't gain,
Heartache and illness were my conflictions
Wrapped in melancholy blue, were my depictions
Of the time of late
My heart was shattered, checkmate.
I fell too far to ever be saved
I fell too far. . .
Now you can carry my pain. . .
You can carry the blaim.
