    As time passed
    my feelings for him grew.
    I tried so hard
    to deny what I thought to be true.

    Now I am left all alone
    with no one by my side
    no light before me brightly shone
    as I, in my loneliness, cried.

    And despite the confession one night
    many words left unsaid.
    The words I longed to speak, brought into light
    remained locked tight within my head.
