• She sits there in this level abyss

    Dreary walls of plaster

Glow with the light of a second sun

    But, even in this light

Her eyes remain closed, concealed away by the thin flesh

Shielding her euphoric dreams from the blind world

    To some, this is insanity

But to those I ask, what is the second sun without insanity?

For to greet the second sun, means to worship Sol

To others, this is the path of nirvana

For under a second sun, nirvana can be reached

If only Kurt knew of this

At her window, a raven waits on his perch

In light, beady eyes stare man down

Under the second sun, the raven’s eyes reflect the deepest oceans

But these oceans are rough with misunderstood currents

Calmed only by the tide of the Moon

In light, the raven is misunderstood

    Dark and sinister

But at night, under a second sun

The raven trails unprecedented beauty wherever she flies
