• Bloody Knees

    Upon my bleeding knees
    I search the cloudy skies
    Begging for you to forgive me
    For all my horrid crimes
    My eyes start to tear
    With pure, carnal sin
    I cannot shake the fear
    That has grown deep within
    My heart begins to palpitate
    As each the seconds pass
    Wondering if you will shake
    The judgments of my past
    I know that I betrayed your trust
    But now forever here to stay
    My body will soon turn to dust
    Yet on my knees still I pray.
