Seventeen years, eighteen on my birthday
Twenty more days, I'll stay young no matter what you say
Age won't change~ me
From the person I have been my whole life
Age is nothing but a number of responsibilities
I don't care~ about where you think that I should be at right now
It isn't your place to feel a tone of constant appeal, so leave me here, just leave me alone
Stop annoying me with this constant excuse
With this constant abuse, you have sewn inside of me
This isn't my choice, this isn't an act
This isn't my home, it's a force fed fact
And now you're holding me back; irony's rich
This is your excuse for being a b***h
You've never been told, however you know
The wind is quick, you better be steady
I'll have you know I'm ready already
Never again will I listen to your dumb tips
However, I will make use of your nice gifts
Too bad, all this time
You never really knew me
Oh, boy~ my shell is coming back~
Let's have another pointless argument~
And let's scream~ our ******** tounges out to the floor~
Never happening to listen to any reasoning~
Let's ******** kill eachother in the process
So soft~ you thought~ I'd be
If you began~ reaching out for me
And releasing me~ from this shell~
My Sanctuary~
Unfortunately for us
It isn't as easy as that
But no~ of course
You've tried
At another worthless attempt to try and get to know your own son and possibly be able to cope with all his differences
Of being solitary in his own home never to talk to you about his life at all
Yet turning himself stray towards what you believed in that being a Christian beat being free
Hoping your odd unwise words would someday miraculously reach him
I'm afraid~ it's not that simple
In fact impossible
To understand me
To ever grasp me
To imagine yourself in my place

- Title: His Fire, her Wax
- Artist: Emonium Shadow
- Description: This is a song I recorded on guitar. In a gist, the song is about all of the people who nagged me about responsibilities and getting older. There's a lot more to it, but, I'll leave the fun of figuring that out to you.
