Shining Eyes of Happiness

When i look into your eyes,
i see us under bright blue skies.
Wandering in a field of green,
beauty as far as we could see.
Happiness the only thing we know,
for once living without sorrow.
Smiling, hugging, talking and caring,
yet to be closer never daring.
Only to wonder if it could be,
could love exist between you and me?
I wake as a smile forms across my face,
not wanting to be any other place.
No sooner or later did i want us to meet,
oh how you make me feel so complete.
These eyes that shine of happiness,
wonder if we’ll ever kiss.
All that matters is we’re always here,
so the other has not a thing to fear.
One more hug then it’s time to go,
one more time affection will we show.
‘Till our next day together is through,
remember always, that i love you.

i liked this very much. i could feel the rhythm as i was reading. some people don't realize poetry is about rhythm not rhymes. that rhyming is only a tool to illustrate the rhythm

This poem is...very blunt force obvious. I admire your attempts at rhyme, but it doesn't always work, and it makes it seem childish. "Green" and "see" don't rhyme, for instance. Also, it would make it feel more mature if you capitilized your "I"s.
