Haikus and Cinquains

• Description: These are a couple of haikus and cinquains I wrote in school. Please tell me which number is your favorite. Thank You! If you don't already know, Haikus have 17 syllables (5-first line, 7-second line, and 5-third line) and don't rhyme. And Cinquains have 5 lines each with a specific rule, 1-word that names a subject, 2-two words that descibe subj. 3-three verbs that describe actions related to the subj. 4-four words that express feeling about the subj. 5-a synonym for the subj.

Lion
Big cat
Stalking, pouncing, growling
Powerful creatures of Africa

2. HAIKU
Flowers sprout in spring,
Reavealing lovely colors
The whole world can see.

Flowers
Colorful, bright
Growing, sprouting, blossoming
Beautiful wonders from God
Plants

4. HAIKU
Grass sprouts from the ground,
Showing a beautiful green,
How precious it is.
