Something that wants to be said, but you're too afraid
In this corrupt sinful world
It makes you feel ashamed
To know that you,
Like others, have faults so you deny them profusely and keep them from all.
Try to blend in, try to stay the sane
Try to be the "perfect one" in this imperfect game.
But why, oh friend, why are you such a fool?
Why do you dare lie to the liars?
I'm a liar and I know you lie.
Why do you hide from the hiders?
I am a hider, and I know there's no "safe place" to hide.
Why do you try to outdo the ones that try to outdo as well?
Its a never-ending cycle I know, and I hope you know too.
We are not the same, but we are
No need to be ashamed, its just who you are.

- Title: What I see in the mirror
- Artist: TOCWGoggles
- Description: The mirror shows you what is around you and the person inside yourself, and I believe we are all aware of that. In this poem, imagine that you are saying it to yourself.
