• What’s the main colour of the sea?
    I don’t know.
    It may be green,
    Maybe purple or blue.
    All I know is that
It’s the home of many creatures
Like little fish with silver sparks
    That swim and dance,
    Play and hide
Between the emerald knotted sea grass
    And the beige seashells,
Or of these beings that are probably made of glass
    The shy, sophisticated jellyfish
The ones that brighten up the sea,
Of the brown and delicate seahorses
    That also swim and dance
    Play and hide
    Around the tangled sea grass.
But these are not the only things
That live in this sea of wonder
Along the sands of dirty alabaster.
