• The moon shines
    Like sustenance silvery
    My horse whines
    Grim tasks lay before me
    But fight on, fight on.
    Wronged, I have been
    And plagued, by my kin
    Slain and enslaved
    By the tainted depraved
    But fight on, fight on.
    Now the dark sorcerer,
Knows that I ride without regard for my life.
If need be, I will sacrifice without a moment’s hesitation.
Father, no, the clans will be proud.
And even if no memory exists of us,
Or the word, shrine, and key.
Perhaps that is for the best.
For in seeking to slay this monster
    We became monsters.
    That shan’t be for nothing.
    Remember me father,
    And my brothers,
    I served our name well.
