((OOC: Note that this is NOT in the POV of Javert. I just wanted to post a con report outside of DA and SA. XD. Besides, it IS Negima related. Kind of. XD.))

((OOC Continued-
Friday-
Arrived at ACEN at 4 PM. TT__TT.(Thanks to my brother and his last minute costume. X___X) Had this been 2 years ago, the Dealer's room would have been closing in an hour. And by the time we got through the line, and entered it, I would have only had 45 minutes to shop. Thankfully, they extended Friday's hours until 7 PM. smile . I went into it, and looked around a bit. My first stop was Sasuga books. I bought a clear poster of Asuna, and Evangeline, from them. The Asuna one features her in her battle clothes, with the giant sword shown in volume 13. The Evangeline one has her in a pink Lolita-styled dress, holding a teddy bear.(I can't find any pictures.)
I also bought a cell phone strap featuring Asuna, a random anime plushie(Not sure of the series), an Asuna plushie, an Asuna pin, the entire Scrapped Princess series, and Negima DVD 6. After I bought.. the plushie, I think, I realized my badge was missing. >>;. I looked frantically up and down the aisles, and never found it. Then, I had to wait in the line of DEATH. The 'payment' line, along with those who opted to have a badge mailed to them, and never received it. I stood in there 5 minutes, and then, they either decided to have a snack break, or were having computer problems. (I am hoping it's the latter, otherwise, they have the crappiest service I've ever seen.) for at least an hour. I eventually got my badge(again- only it was the proper one this time.), and headed back to the dealer's room. I then bought a toy of Nekane(also from Negima), and an Nodoka keychain, and left for the day.
After the dealer's room, we went to eat.(Skipping the rest cause it's boring.)
Then, I got back half an hour late for the 'RPGs beyond Final Fantasy' panel, then headed for my hotel room for the night.

Saturday-
After eating breakfast, I immediately headed back for the dealer's room.(I hadn't finished my shopping, as they were nearly closed by the time I got back.)
This time, I bought an Asuna keychain, a Slayers shitajiki, the Negima fanbook, and the new Negima?! manga.
I then went to 'Translating anime and manga', where the translators of Negima and Ranma 1/2 talked about how it's done. And I also found out that they're changing translators for Negima. Which means the translations may suck now. X__X
Then, I had to sit through half of a panel about some anime named Nerima Daikon brothers. The only amusing things were the guy who made up Nabeshin's commentary, and the comments from Negi's English voice actor. Otherwise, it was BORING. X__X
Then came the Negima panel. This was very interesting, and was led by the voice actors(from the dub), of Yue, Nodoka, Negi, and Sakurako.
After that, came 'Character development in Anime', a very informative panel about.. well, that it said it was. XD. Led by the voice actor for Gai Daigoji, from Nadesico.
After that, we went to the extremely boring 'Art and animation in video games'. >>;. I know, sounds interesting, right? WRONG. They talked nothing about anime based games. Only 'popular' ones. X__X. (Shooters.) It's an Anime con, not 'boring video games that aren't even anime based con', so I had figured it would be about anime based games. Wrong. X__X
Once that ordeal was over, I attended the '(Web) comics on a budget' panel. While it was amusing, aside from learning about cheap web hosts, I knew everything. ^^;;;;. It was, nevertheless, informative. I think I spend too much time on webcomics. Ehhehhehheh...
