Overcome With the Lust for Power 2
As Mara walked down the hallway she saw Stranger, his real name was Kevin, he was a human but with elemental powers as well. His swords were attached to his back, he had his regular black shades on. Mara looked up at him, the scar going vertically down his left eyebrow straight to the middle of his cheek, was quite visible. She nodded to him as she passed by him, only to have him turn and say," Hey, Scuro, back so soon? I thought the fight was going to be longer then that!"
She turned to face him the hallway and shrugged her shoulders. " He was weaker then we thought." She smirked as she said this, noticing Stranger's eyes moving to her teeth. She suddenly noticed her fangs were extended. He laughed as Scuro went cross eyed and her fangs retracted to look normal. She couldn't help but laugh as well.
" I see you're tired Scuro, you should get some rest." Stranger was commenting on her posture and how lazy she looked. She shrugged her shoulders once more before replying.
" I'm on my way there, where are you going?" Scuro had noticed Stranger looked ready for battle.
" Turns out, I have a fight coming up. I went into a bar for a drink and the next thing I know, some punk wants to fight me, asks for a date and time." He shook his head, " He doesn't know what he's got himself into. . ."
" That's for sure," said Scuro, her eyebrows up in amazement. " Well, I'm off, before I end up sleeping on the floor like last week." She left off a slight laugh at this, as Stranger did as well.
" Good morning Scuro." He turned and walked away, his swords glinting a bit. Scuro watched him, she whispered good bye under her breath, and turned to walk down the hallway, then down the staircase, to one of the lowest rooms in the house, her room.
She opened the black door that opened to her room, it was another gothic style door. She walked into the room, closing the door behind her quietly. The room was dark, only a small ray of sunlight came through the barred window that was near the ceiling of her room. She looked around, everything was where it should be. She sat in a chair at her desk, a small laptop was in front of her, it showed the front gate. A few books were scattered on the desk, and a few big books were stacked. Her bed was next to her desk, and she looked at the soft crimson covers. Her fountain was running on the rimmed tile floor, in her fountain white lilies stuck out in the dark. She looked to the door beside the fountain, it was the entrance to her bathroom. She took her boots off, it was seven in the morning, it was late.

Stranger walked out the door, heading to the garage, where all the cars were kept by those who had them. As he walked he thought, he always thought it was funny that the day was Scuro's night. " Vampires and their admiration to the dark, psh," he continued to the garage, opening the door to his personal garage, he punched in the code and the door opened. Light shined from the sun on the motorcycle that was in front of him. He rounded the bike, " Perfect condition! Let's keep it that way." He got on the bike gently, putting on his helmet. He didn't need flying powers to get around, he loved his motorcycle too much.
His motorcycle glided around the road corners quickly, almost to the point where his leg would hit the road, but it never did. His hands clenched the handles as he accelerated, the man said to meet for the fight behind the bar where he was the night before. He was somewhat excited, and yet, feeling a bit of pity for the boy.
He finally arrived at the front of the bar, stopping his bike suddenly and looking for a safe parking spot. He found one and parked his bike, stepping off of it, and slipped off his helmet. His platinum blond hair russled from the wind. He sighed, cracking his fingers lazily as he walked behind the bar. He looked around, it seemed like the man wasn't there yet, so he leaned against the wall, pulling out a pack of gum, taking a piece from it and popping it into his mouth, chewing it softly, feeling the flavor of it run down his throat.
He took his shades out of his pocket and covered his greenish gray eyes once more with the black tinted glass. He looked around once more, and stood still against the wall, folding his arms across his chest. He suddenly heard the sound of car engines revving and then stopping at the entrance of the bar. Two door slams were followed, as well as the clatter of metal, guns. " How did these goons get guns?" Thought Stranger as he shifted his weight, taking one foot off the ground and placing it on the wall.
He waited as he heard the mens footsteps fall upon the earth, going toward him. He watched the corner of the building with his shades, chewing his gum lightly. He saw 3 men come around the corner, guns in hand. " You the one Boss called out for a fight?" One asked as the 3 men looked Stranger up and down.
" Yeah, where is he?" Stranger was looking for a fight, not 3 goons in the mans place.
" He was. . ." said one.
" Unable to make it," said the other. Guns were held in their arms, ready for fire at Stranger, " He was a bit caught up, but we're here to deal with you. But, you look like a smart kid, why don't you disappear for awhile?"
This was one solution that Stranger didn't like it, he pointed to one, " I'll spare you, so you can tell your boss, I want to fight him." In a swift move, and a flash, Stranger had taken all the guns and had placed them all at his side on the ground. He used his power over the darkness to do this quickly so wouldn't get harmed in the process, before saying, " Come and get 'em!"
The 3 goons were wide-eyed, they didn't expect him to be one of the elementals. They all started to run, but Stranger said only one goon would return to the boss.
