THE FOREST
THE FOREST
In the morning, Crystal and Pearl woke up, then woke up Shadow. They talked about what they'd do today, and they all agreed on going down to the forest. So they left to hidden cavern and headed down the mountain trail to the base of the mountain. Once they were at the base, ahead of them was a big forest. "Well now that we're going into the forest we shouldn't get too hot unlike going down that mountain. And we might be able to find something to eat too," said Crystal. "thanks for mentioning food Crystal, now I'm hungry..." complained Pearl. "Oh, you'll live, ya big baby," said Crystal. "Either way we should go find somthing to eat though," said Shadow as she headed into the forest. Noon started to approach and soon they were all starting to get a bit dizzy from hunger and tired from all the walking. Suddenly Shadow sat down and said, "lets take a break guys." So Crystal and Pearl also sat down, relieved to finally sit.
"I'm sooooooooo hungry, I could like, die right now..." complained Crystal, "well there is a berry bush right over there that looks edible," said Shadow. Then Crystal rushed over to where the bush was and shouted, "hey this is a raspberry bush!" Shadow and Pearl then ran over there and they all started to pick the raspberries. Then they found a little spring not to far from the bush so they washed the berries and stated to eat them. "These are really good raspberries," said Crystal happily, "definatly," said Shadow and Pearl. When they were done eating they took some drinks from the spring and Pearl said, "I feel a lot better now that i had something to eat and drink." "Me too," said Shadow, "me three," said Crystal. Then they continued on their way now refreshed a bit. It was starting to get a bit darker, then suddenly Shadow whispered, "Shhhh! hide now!". Shadow jumped up into a nearby tree then Crystal and Pearl hid in a bush close by the tree quickly. Then two people rushed by them. When they were out of sight they came out of hiding. "I wonder who those people were," said Crystal a little worried. "Who knows, and since im tired im gonna take a nap, you two should too," said Shadow as she layed down on a large branch in the tree. "Oh, and make sure your hidden too in case those people we just saw come back this way, in case they are bad people or something," said Shadow drousily. So Crystal and Pearl went back into the bush they hid in a minute ago and and fell asleep.
About an hour later they woke to someone talking nearby. So they quietly and stealthily went over to the talking. It was two boys camping out, the same ones that passed by earlier. Shadow whispered to Crystal and Pearl. They nodded and went to the other side of the camp unnoticed. Shadow found a big stick nearby and held it ready. They watched the two boys, still hidden, soon the boys were starting to go to sleep. Shadow, quick like lightning, Smacked them both over the head with her stick. Crystal and Pearl then came out next to Shadow and they saw the boys now completely unconcious.
