1 Rinala glanced around the courtyard. ‘Doesn't look like there are very many people here,’ she thought to herself as she glanced around. She saw a vampire, an elf, and what seemed to be an angel, judging from her wings. ‘This is going to be fun,’ she thought, smirking at the thought of even more races being there. She didn't mind some more than others, but she usually couldn't stand angels. They always seemed to have a thing against her no matter how she acted. Rinala just sighed and repositioned her bag on her shoulder, and she continued on her way to her dorm. Rinala sensed an elf walking a few yards behind her. "What do you want?" she called out over her shoulder, a hint of annoyance in her voice. She had been walking for days now and just wanted to put her stuff down and rest. "I want to know where the heck my room is, thank you very much," the elf shouted back coldly. “Well following me isn't going to help you." Rinala said as she turned around to face the elf, "Your room number is 742 and it's on a different floor from mine." she then turned back around and entered the building. The elf raised an eyebrow, "You're stalking me?" Rinala poked her head out the door to answer her, "No, it was posted over on that wall over there," she pointed over to a brick wall with a piece of paper taped to it, "and I managed to get a hold of a map not too long ago. Don't ask me how, it's a trade secret." And with that she disappeared and walked up the stairs to her room. Rinala noticed a vampire and smiled back. They were usually easy to get along with; they had almost the same values and stuff. After she dropped her stuff off in her room, she went downstairs to the living area and sat down on a sofa. "Hello, is anyone here?" called a voice. “Hello." Rinala called from the sofa. ‘A shape-shifter,’ she thought, ‘at least he's male.’ Rinala sat up to get a better look at him. He was pretty cute and probably better company than that hot-blooded elf. “Hi! So what are you? I guess you can already tell that I’m a shape shifter," said the man. “Take a guess." she said, holding out her palm and calling forth a small black flame. "Demon...I had a friend who was a demon but he didn’t know what I was. So, what’s your name?" he asked curiously. "Good guess," she said as she extinguished the flame with her will. "You can call me Rinala," she answered, holding out her hand. “Well, it’s nice to meet you Rin, if you don’t mind that I call you that. I’m gonna go see if there’s any other people here,” he said, turning to leave.
