And it was still funny the second time. A goat turned into a man, a man turned into a goat turned into a woman, and a cross-dressing pirate = heart .

I'm still concerned about the fact that I might like a movie better than its book version.

I don't think I'll have to worry about that for The Golden Compass, though.

I'm weird with books and movies...I love both the books and the movies of The Lord of the Rings - I still like the books better, but the movies were very well done and have great music. The Harry Potter books are excellent, but the movies are meh. The transition from good book to good movie is very hard to pull off, I'd say.
