Which surprised me some, but I am very content to have done so well my first semester of graduate school. And this is despite me being a lazy bum.
I went out with my family for some very excellent Chinese food and a viewing of The Golden Compass. I had to explain a lot of it to my family, who hasn't read the books, so that wasn't a good sign. It did look pretty. It just wasn't as...fulfilling, shall we say...as the books.
