I push myself up into a sitting position. "Yukito..." I flinch as pain runs through my neck. Hisoka puts his hands on my shoulder and tries to push me back down. I shake my head. He pulls his hands away, looking at me like it was his fault. "Oh, stop it, Hisoka. I'm fine."

"No, you're not and you know it.” He says, bracing the back of my shoulders. I turn my head and smile at him.

“I’m fine.” I insist. I sigh and look back at Yukito. “Yukito… Do you have any idea who could be telling these things to Yakimi?”

Yukito shakes his head without looking up. “No… No… I don’t know. I just know it’s someone from the council.” He seems to have calmed down enough to stop crying.

Master Aki sits down next to him. “Yukito. This is valuable information. But… If what you say is true about Yakimi, that she is selling out our secrets to the vampires, then I cannot protect her from the council. I must go.” Master Aki stands again. He walks over to the chair by Hisoka’s desk and removes a dark brown jacket from the back. He slips it on and turns to me. “You, sleep. You must rest. I must meet with the council. You three.” He looks at all of us in turn. “This information stays in this room. No others are to know this. Understand?” We all nod. “Good. You two, stay here and tend to her.” I glare at Master Aki. He smiles at me.

“I don’t need caretakers.” I say, crossing my arms. Master Aki chuckles. Yukito smiles weakly. Hisoka shakes his head.

“Go to sleep.” Hisoka says, pushing me back down.
